"The ocean accepts all rivers."
Hai na bai chuan - The literal translation is "the ocean accepts a hundred rivers". This serves as a metaphor for tolerance, open-mindedness, and welcoming diversity. 
At Blue Lantern Martial Arts: Shaolin Wing Chun Kung Fu, our mission is to provide the highest quality martial arts training in a safe, inclusive and supportive environment. Among the tenets we live by, "Hai na bai chuan-- the ocean accepts all rivers" is one we are especially proud of. We are committed to helping our students achieve their goals, whether it's improving their physical fitness, learning self-defense skills, growing internally, or simply having fun. We strive to instill discipline, respect, and confidence in all of our students.
